Drept urmare au fost create condi\u0163iile necesare pentru rena\u015fterea \u015fi \u00eentregirea spiritual\u0103 a tuturor rom\u00e2nilor. Revenirea Basarabiei, \u00een anul 1918, \u00een s\u00e2nul spa\u0163iului rom\u00e2nesc a asigurat pe parcursul \u00eentregii perioade de p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een 1940 o rena\u015ftere na\u0163ional\u0103 \u015fi spiritual\u0103 a rom\u00e2nilor basarabeni, \u00een perioada 1918-1940 constituindu-se aici o adev\u0103rat\u0103 intelectualitate na\u0163ional\u0103. Pentru prima dat\u0103 \u00een istoria acestui \u0163inut, for\u0163ele spiritualit\u0103\u0163ii rom\u00e2ne\u015fti, vastele acumul\u0103ri culturale, na\u0163ionale, umane \u015fi sociale s-au materializat \u00eentr-un salt calitativ care s-a produs \u00een perioada interbelic\u0103<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-13426 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"312\" height=\"482\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto2.jpg 312w, https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto2-194x300.jpg 194w, https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto2-260x402.jpg 260w, https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto2-160x247.jpg 160w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 312px) 100vw, 312px\" \/><\/a>Perioada respectiv\u0103 este numit\u0103 Epoca de Aur pentru Basarabia. Statul rom\u00e2n a asigurat condi\u0163iile \u015fi cadrul juridic necesare pentru accelerarea procesului de modernizare a societ\u0103\u0163ii. Modernizarea Basarabiei s-a f\u0103cut atunci \u00een contextul moderniz\u0103rii Rom\u00e2niei Mari, de\u015fi, de men\u0163ionat, c\u0103 Vechiul Regat, dar \u015fi Transilvania, \u00eencepuser\u0103 procesul cel pu\u0163in cu 50 de ani \u00eenainte. Cunoa\u015ftem cu to\u0163ii faptul c\u0103 momentul istoric nu era cel mai favorabil: Rom\u00e2nia se confrunta cu criza produs\u0103 de r\u0103zboi, tradi\u0163iile democratice \u015fi institu\u0163iile politice erau \u00eenc\u0103 \u00een proces de consolidare, problema agrar\u0103 cerea solu\u0163ionare urgent\u0103. \u00cen plan extern, Rom\u00e2nia urma s\u0103 ob\u0163in\u0103 recunoa\u015fterea Marii Uniri, trebuia s\u0103-\u015fi asigure securitatea na\u0163ional\u0103 vis-a-vis de preten\u0163iile revizioniste ale statelor vecine. Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 multiplele probleme guvernul Rom\u00e2niei trebuia s\u0103 asigure condi\u0163iile optime de integrare a noilor provincii alipite la spa\u0163iul unic na\u0163ional. \u015ei pentru provinciile alipite integrarea a fost la fel de anevoioas\u0103&#8230; Un ofi\u0163er rom\u00e2n de cavalerie nota \u00een 1918: <em>\u201eBasarabenii de azi sunt fiii \u015fi nepo\u0163ii moldovenilor din 1812. Doar p\u00e2n\u0103 acolo ajunge ideea lor despre propriile origini\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Pentru \u00een\u0163elegerea mai bun\u0103 a impactului unirii \u015fi \u00een special a importan\u0163ei re\u00eentregirii pentru Basarabia voi prezenta o succint\u0103 analiz\u0103 a situa\u0163iei din provincie la momentul unific\u0103rii.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen general, Basarabia avea o popula\u0163ie preponderent rural\u0103:13% din popula\u0163ie locuiau \u00een mediul urban, 87% \u2013 \u00een cel rural. Rom\u00e2nii tr\u0103iau \u00een marea majoritate la sate: din cele 56,2 % de rom\u00e2ni din Basarabia, doar 31,5% tr\u0103iau \u00een mediul urban. Ponderea \u015ftiutorilor de carte era urm\u0103toarea: vechiul regat \u2013 39,3%, (recens\u0103m\u00e2ntul din 1912), Bucovina 45,2% (\u00een 1912), Basarabia \u2013 19,4% (\u00een 1897), Transilvania \u2013 51,1% (\u00een 1910). Dup\u0103 cum observ\u0103m gradul de alfabetizare al popula\u0163iei din provincie era extrem de mic \u2013 19,4% de alfabetiza\u0163i \u00eenainte de r\u0103zboi. Cel mai mic procent de alfabetiza\u0163i era \u00een r\u00e2ndul rom\u00e2nilor: doar 10 % din popula\u0163ia masculin\u0103 cuno\u015ftea carte \u015fi doar 1 % din femei. Preponderen\u0163a alogen\u0103 a ora\u015felor era \u015fi ea o realitate: \u00een 1930, \u00een Chi\u015fin\u0103u locuiau 45% evrei \u015fi 27% ru\u015fi. Nu exista o clas\u0103 mijlocie, iar dac\u0103 exista, era alogen\u0103. Un diplomat francez, aflat \u00eentr-o vizit\u0103 \u00een Basarabia, \u00een iunie 1922, nota <em>\u201e&#8230;popula\u0163ia ora\u015felor era pur ruseasc\u0103 \u015fi israelit\u0103 \u015fi violent antirom\u00e2neasc\u0103<\/em>\u201d. Iar \u015etefan Ciobanu avertiza \u00een 1925 <em>\u201eDac\u0103 cineva ar vrea s\u0103-\u015fi fac\u0103 o impresie despre Basarabia dup\u0103 ora\u015fele sale, ar comite cea mai cumplit\u0103 eroare\u2026 Marea majoritate a ora\u015felor, crea\u0163ie artificial\u0103 a regimului rusesc, sunt \u00een dezacord cu via\u0163a din satele \u00eenconjur\u0103toare\u201d.<\/em> (Anexa 1)<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen pofida modalit\u0103\u0163ilor de interpretare a evenimentelor istorice din Basarabia \u015fi a situa\u0163iei social \u2013 economice precare, \u00een problema succeselor ob\u0163inute de rom\u00e2nii basarabeni, mai ales, \u00een domeniile cultur\u0103, \u015ftiin\u0163\u0103, educa\u0163ie afirm cu hot\u0103r\u00e2re c\u0103 au fost ob\u0163inute rezultate considerabile.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-13429 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"310\" height=\"458\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto3.jpg 310w, https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto3-203x300.jpg 203w, https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto3-260x384.jpg 260w, https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto3-160x236.jpg 160w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 310px) 100vw, 310px\" \/><\/a>Privit\u0103 pe ansamblul perioadei interbelice, via\u0163a politic\u0103 din Basarabia integrat\u0103 \u00een competi\u0163ia politic\u0103 na\u0163ional\u0103 a servit pentru popula\u0163ie lec\u0163ii de alfabetizare \u00een regulile jocului democratic. Prin voturile exprimate \u00een alegerile parlamentare din 1919, 1920, 1922 popula\u0163ia Basarabiei \u015fi-a manifestat ata\u015famentul fa\u0163\u0103 de for\u0163ele politice exponente ale intereselor sale, c\u00e2t \u015fi adeziunea la noul regim politic rom\u00e2nesc. Numero\u015fi activi\u015fti \u015fi intelectuali s-au integrat \u00een institu\u0163iile politice ale statului unitar. Cei 90 de deputa\u0163i \u015fi 37 de senatori basarabeni ale\u015fi \u00een primul Parlament al Rom\u00e2niei Mari reprezentau toate etniile conlocuitoare din Basarabia. Oameni politici basarabeni \u2013 Pan Halippa, Ion Pelivan, Ion Incule\u0163, Constantin Stere, Daniel Ciugureanu \u2013 au participat activ, fie de la tribuna parlamentar\u0103, fie din scaunul ministerial sau din cel al opozi\u0163iei la dezbaterile celor mai importante chestiuni ale \u0163\u0103rii, contribuind prin atitudine, op\u0163iuni \u015fi eforturile depuse la fortificarea democra\u0163iei, la consolidarea politic\u0103 a societ\u0103\u0163ii rom\u00e2ne\u015fti. Un aspect esen\u0163ial al integr\u0103rii Basarabiei \u00een via\u0163a politic\u0103 a Rom\u00e2niei l-a reprezentat fuziunea partidelor politice basarabene cu forma\u0163iunile politice din \u0163ar\u0103. C\u0103tre anul 1923 \u00een Basarabia erau prezente cele mai importante partide politice \u2013 PNL, Partidul \u0162\u0103r\u0103nesc, Partidul Poporului, Partidul Na\u0163ional Rom\u00e2n, care difuzau \u00een r\u00e2ndul popula\u0163iei valorile \u015fi principiile democra\u0163iei \u015fi aduceau mai mult\u0103 lumin\u0103 asupra adev\u0103ratelor interese na\u0163ionale ale societ\u0103\u0163ii rom\u00e2ne\u015fti.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-13432 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"309\" height=\"482\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto4.jpg 309w, https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto4-192x300.jpg 192w, https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto4-260x406.jpg 260w, https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto4-160x250.jpg 160w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 309px) 100vw, 309px\" \/><\/a>Integrarea Basarabiei a \u00eenregistrat rezultate plenare nu doar \u00een domeniul politic, dar \u015fi sub aspect cultural. Este evident\u0103 ridicarea nivelului de cultur\u0103 al poporului, formarea \u015fi cultivarea elitelor intelectuale, politice. \u00cenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntul \u015fi-a adus propria-i contribu\u0163ie \u00een acest domeniu, de aceea cele mai importante ac\u0163iuni vizau \u00een special diminuarea analfabetismului.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen raport cu Transilvania \u015fi Bucovina, unde exista o intelectualitate rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 numeroas\u0103, care a putut prelua toate func\u0163iile administrative, Basarabia dispunea de un num\u0103r relativ mic de intelectuali, \u00eentruc\u00e2t \u00een timpul regimului \u0163arist limba rom\u00e2n\u0103 fusese interzis\u0103 \u00een administra\u0163ie, \u00een biseric\u0103, \u00een \u015fcoal\u0103, iar rela\u0163iile cu Rom\u00e2nia au fost obstruc\u0163ionate. Din acest motiv, a fost nevoie de func\u0163ionari, \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103tori, preo\u0163i adu\u015fi din vechiul regat. Lumin\u0103torii Basarabiei \u00een aceste condi\u0163ii erau: profesorii, \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103torii, preo\u0163ii \u015fi studen\u0163ii ardeleni, bucovineni, adu\u015fi acolo de valurile r\u0103zboiului \u015fi mi\u015fcarea unionist\u0103. Sufletul mi\u015fc\u0103rii acesteia rodnice a fost \u015fi profesorul Onisifor Ghibu, ardelean aruncat prin voia destinului tocmai \u00een Basarabia, unde a venit \u00eempreun\u0103 cu familia la Chi\u015fin\u0103u, la 12 martie 1917. Aici l-a cunoscut pe Pan Halippa \u015fi cercul de prieteni restr\u00e2ns din jurul acestuia. El devine martorul ocular, participantul \u015fi \u00eensufle\u0163itorul unor evenimente foarte importante pentru rena\u015fterea culturii na\u0163ionale \u00een Basarabia. Este bine cunoscut efortul pedagogului rom\u00e2n pentru \u00eenfiin\u0163area la Chi\u015fin\u0103u a asocia\u0163iei <em>Astra.<\/em> Din iunie 1926 p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een octombrie 1927, aflat \u00een Basarabia, Onisifor Ghibu a reu\u015fit s\u0103 \u00eenfiin\u0163eze asocia\u0163ia cultural\u0103 ASTRA \u00een septembrie 1926, dup\u0103 modelul <em>Astrei Ardelene<\/em>. \u00cen Basarabia au fost alc\u0103tuite zece sec\u0163iuni literare \u015fi \u015ftiin\u0163ifice \u00een scopul de a cerceta \u015fi populariza diferite probleme de cultur\u0103 \u015fi de via\u0163\u0103 ale poporului rom\u00e2n. Iar conceptele pedagogice ale lui Onisifor Ghibu r\u0103m\u00e2n viabile \u015fi ast\u0103zi, \u00een special ideile lui cu referire la activitatea \u015fi responsabilitatea pedagogului: \u201e<em>Eu (&#8230;) am fost animat de convingerea c\u0103 un profesor trebuie s\u0103 fie un educator al neamului \u015fi al epocii sale, c\u0103rora trebuie s\u0103-\u015fi devoteze toate for\u0163ele. Guvernul Rom\u00e2niei a \u00een\u0163eles de la bun \u00eenceput necesitatea r\u0103sp\u00e2ndirii \u015ftiin\u0163ei de carte \u00een r\u00e2ndul basarabenilor \u2013 drept condi\u0163ie indiscutabil\u0103 a progresului general al Statului Rom\u00e2n.<\/p>\n<p>Eforturile cele mai mari au fost \u00eendreptate spre reducerea analfabetismului. Legea \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntului din 1924 stabilea un sistem unitar de organizare al acestuia pe \u00eentreg teritoriul \u0163\u0103rii. Astfel Legea cu privire la \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntul primar \u015fi secundar \u00een statul rom\u00e2nesc, promulgat\u0103 la 26 iulie 1924, prevedea acordarea dreptului la \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103tur\u0103 pentru to\u0163i copiii, indiferent de sexul, na\u0163ionalitatea \u015fi rasa lor, se introducea \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntul primar \u015fi secundar obligatoriu, cu o durat\u0103 de 7 ani, din care ultimii ani erau destina\u0163i \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntului practic, se trasa trecerea la \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntul de 7 ani \u00een timp de 5 ani (art. 57) \u015fi lichidarea deosebirilor dintre \u015fcolile s\u0103te\u015fti \u015fi cele de la ora\u015f. Astfel au fost create premizele dezvolt\u0103rii \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntului \u00een \u00eentreaga provincie. Se \u00eenfiin\u0163eaz\u0103 mai multe \u015fcoli \u015fi internate pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 licee, se \u00eenfiin\u0163eaz\u0103 \u015fcoli normale de b\u0103ie\u0163i, de fete, \u015fcoala de conduc\u0103toare de gr\u0103dini\u0163e de copii, \u015fcoli profesionale, \u015fcoli medii, mai multe \u015fcoli primare \u015fi gr\u0103dini\u0163e de copii. Se schimb\u0103 \u015fi caracterul identitar al popula\u0163iei \u015fcolare, care devine tot mai rom\u00e2neasc\u0103. Pe c\u00e2nd sub regimul rus, \u015fcoala secundar\u0103 era destinat\u0103 numai pentru copiii de func\u0163ionari ru\u015fi, \u00een aceste \u015fcoli aproape nu erau copii de \u0163\u0103rani, rom\u00e2nii constituind procentual de la 3 p\u00e2n\u0103 la 15 la sut\u0103. \u00cen Basarabia interbelic\u0103 \u015fcoala secundar\u0103 este asediat\u0103 de c\u0103tre elemente rom\u00e2ne\u015fti de la \u0163ar\u0103, devine una democratic\u0103 \u015fi na\u0163ional\u0103. Num\u0103rul copiilor, care urmeaz\u0103 \u015fcoala, atinge cifre, pe care nu le-a atins niciodat\u0103 \u00een trecut.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntului din Basarabia \u00eei era proprie o diversitate v\u0103dit\u0103 a formelor de instruire \u015fi tipurilor de \u015fcoli. Se extinde \u015fi \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntul primar, astfel c\u0103 \u00een ora\u015ful Chi\u015fin\u0103u, c\u0103tre anul 1940 func\u0163ionau 50 \u015fcoli primare, inclusiv 17 \u015fcoli mixte, 13 \u015fcoli de fete, 14 \u015fcoli de b\u0103ie\u0163i, \u015fase \u015fcoli evreie\u015fti, 11 licee, trei gimnazii, \u015ecoala normal\u0103 de \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103tori \u201eMihai Viteazul\u201d, \u015ecoala normal\u0103 eparhial\u0103, Seminarul de Teologie, \u015ecoala de contabilitate. Se deosebeau prin calitatea preg\u0103tirii elevilor Liceul militar \u201eRegele Ferdinand I\u201d (director C. I. Ceal\u00e2c), Liceul comercial de b\u0103ie\u0163i (director Eberman), Liceul de fete \u201ePrincipesa Dadiani\u201d (director R. Galin), Liceul de fete \u201eRegina Maria\u201d (directoare A. Negrescu), Gimnaziul \u201eMihai Eminescu\u201d (director N. N. Moro\u015fanu), Gimnaziul industrial casnic (directoare E. Antonescu), Liceul \u201eB. P. Ha\u015fdeu\u201d (director V. Harea), Liceul eparhial (director M. U\u015finevici-Dumitrescu) \u015fi altele. La Chi\u015fin\u0103u se deschid mai multe gr\u0103dini\u0163e de copii, pe c\u00e2nd sub st\u0103p\u00e2nirea rus\u0103 nu exista nici o institu\u0163ie pre\u015fcolar\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>S-a constituit <strong>un sistem na\u0163ional modern de \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2nt<\/strong>, \u00een conformitate cu specificul identitar din provincie. Drepturile conlocuitorilor de alte etnii, inclusiv dreptul la instruire \u00een limba matern\u0103, garantate prin Constitu\u0163ia din 1923 erau respectate \u00een deplin\u0103tate. Conform cercet\u0103rilor, din cele 1747 de \u015fcoli primare care func\u0163ionau \u00een 1920-1921, 1233 erau \u015fcoli cu instruirea \u00een limba rom\u00e2n\u0103 \u015fi \u00eencadrau 1892 de \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103tori, celelalte circa 514 erau divizate corespunz\u0103tor raport\u0103rii la grupuri etnice (Anexele 2, 3). Astfel era asigurat dreptul la studii \u00een limba matern\u0103 pentru reprezentan\u0163ii minorit\u0103\u0163ilor na\u0163ionale care beneficiau de \u015fcoli cu predare \u00een limba matern\u0103. Limba \u015fi literatura rom\u00e2n\u0103 era o disciplin\u0103 obligatorie \u00een toate \u015fcolile, iar istoria \u015fi geografia se predau \u00een limba rom\u00e2n\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-13438 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"510\" height=\"303\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto6.jpg 510w, https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto6-300x178.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto6-260x154.jpg 260w, https:\/\/www.slineamt.ro\/apostolul\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/06-ap213-foto6-160x95.jpg 160w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/a>Pentru asigurarea num\u0103rului necesar de cadre didactice o deosebit\u0103 aten\u0163ie era atribuit\u0103 dezvolt\u0103rii \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntului normal \u00een \u00eentreaga Basarabie. \u00cen 1927, \u00een Basarabia erau 10 \u015fcoli normale cu 1932 elevi (1300 b\u0103ie\u0163i \u015fi 632 fete), 21 licee de b\u0103ie\u0163i (1402 elevi) \u015fi 14 licee de fete (3225 eleve). Doar \u00een Chi\u015fin\u0103u, \u00een afar\u0103 de dou\u0103 \u015fcoli normale, una de \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103tori \u015fi alta de \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103toare, exist\u0103 o \u015fcoal\u0103 de conduc\u0103toare de gr\u0103dini\u0163e de copii \u015fi o sec\u0163ie normal\u0103 pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 \u015ecoala Eparhial\u0103 de fete.<\/p>\n<p>Majoritatea cov\u00e2r\u015fitoare a elevilor de la aceste \u015fcoli, copii de s\u0103teni, erau caza\u0163i \u00een internate, cei mai mul\u0163i ca bursieri. (Anexa 4.)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dezvoltarea \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntului mediu de specialitate era dictat\u0103 de necesit\u0103\u0163ile economice locale. Num\u0103rul \u015fcolilor profesionale a crescut de la 9 \u00een 1919 p\u00e2n\u0103 la 19 \u00een 1926, iar num\u0103rul elevilor, respectiv de la 175 la 1048. Astfel, un rol important \u00een preg\u0103tirea agronomilor, viticultorilor, zootehnicienilor l-au jucat \u015fcolile medii agricole de specialitate. \u00cen 1927, \u00een Basarabia func\u0163ionau: \u015ecoala na\u0163ional\u0103 de viticultur\u0103 din Chi\u015fin\u0103u, \u015fcolile inferioare de agricultur\u0103 din Cucuruzeni, Grin\u0103u\u0163i, Purcari, Cricova, Cupcin, Manz\u00e2r, Br\u00e2nzeni \u015fi \u015ecoala de viticultur\u0103 din Saharna \u2013 cu trei \u015fcoli mai mult dec\u00e2t \u00een anul 1918. Dac\u0103 p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een 1918 cursurile se \u0163ineau \u00een limba rus\u0103, dup\u0103 Unire s-a trecut la limba rom\u00e2n\u0103, au fost rev\u0103zute programele de studii, s-au introdus programe noi analitice. La Chi\u015fin\u0103u pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 \u015fcolile secundare func\u0163ionau o \u015fcoal\u0103 de viticultur\u0103 cu 103 elevi, o \u015fcoal\u0103 comercial\u0103 superioar\u0103, o \u015fcoal\u0103 profesional\u0103 de fete, toate \u00een afar\u0103 de \u015fcoala comercial\u0103 superioar\u0103, cu o popula\u0163ie \u015fcolar\u0103 aproape exclusiv rom\u00e2neasc\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen compara\u0163ie cu cel primar \u015fi secundar, \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntul superior a cunoscut \u00een Basarabia un progres mai lent. Aici au func\u0163ionat dou\u0103 facult\u0103\u0163i ale Universit\u0103\u0163ii din Ia\u015fi: Facultatea de Teologie, \u00eenfiin\u0163at\u0103 \u00een 1926, \u00een frunte cu decanul Popescu-Prahova, \u015fi Facultatea de \u015etiin\u0163e Agricole deschis\u0103 \u00een 1933, \u00eenfiin\u0163at\u0103 datorit\u0103 str\u0103duin\u0163elor lui Anton Crihan, fost subsecretar de stat. La aceste facult\u0103\u0163i, cu o baz\u0103 material\u0103 bun\u0103, \u00ee\u015fi f\u0103ceau studiile peste 2000 de studen\u0163i. \u00cenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntul superior \u00een Basarabia f\u0103cea abia primii pa\u015fi. Un num\u0103r considerabil de studen\u0163i basarabeni \u00ee\u015fi f\u0103ceau studiile la universit\u0103\u0163ile din Cern\u0103u\u0163i, Ia\u015fi, Bucure\u015fti, Cluj, la institu\u0163iile de \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2nt superior din Fran\u0163a, Germania, Cehoslovacia, Belgia. \u00cen aceste condi\u0163ii, Gala Galaction propunea s\u0103 fie deschis\u0103 \u00een Basarabia o universitate, dar aceast\u0103 idee frumoas\u0103 n-a fost realizat\u0103, deoarece Basarabia a fost reanexat\u0103 de URSS \u00een 1940.<\/p>\n<p>Vorbind despre succesele \u015fcolii basarabene, nu putem trece cu vederea \u015fi greut\u0103\u0163ile prin care a trecut \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntul public din Basarabia. De\u015fi num\u0103rul elevilor era \u00een cre\u015ftere nu to\u0163i copiii au fost \u015fcolariza\u0163i (cauza situa\u0163ia material\u0103 precar\u0103 \u00eendeosebi \u00een familiile din mediul rural), insuficien\u0163a num\u0103rului de \u015fcoli \u015fi cadre didactice, lipsa de cabinete dotate specializate, baza material\u0103 era \u00eenc\u0103 destul de modest\u0103, frecven\u0163a \u015fcolar\u0103 redus\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Concluzie<\/strong>. \u00cen general, \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntul primar, secundar, profesional \u015fi superior au constituit un puternic instrument de promovare \u015fi dezvoltare a culturii rom\u00e2ne\u015fti, de r\u0103sp\u00e2ndire a \u015ftiin\u0163ei de carte \u015fi culturii de care au profitat toate clasele sociale basarabene. De la Hotin p\u00e2n\u0103 la Reni \u015fi Ismail, \u015fcoala rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 din Basarabia a crescut mul\u0163i intelectuali. Ea a format multe personalit\u0103\u0163i care au activat \u015fi \u00een perioada postbelic\u0103. Sute de mii de copii au absolvit \u015fcoala rom\u00e2neasc\u0103, \u00eencadr\u00e2ndu-se pregnant \u00een via\u0163a spiritual\u0103 a Rom\u00e2niei re\u00eentregite. Gradul de alfabetizare a popula\u0163iei din Basarabia a \u00eenregistrat o cre\u015ftere considerabil\u0103 (Anexele 7,8).<\/p>\n<p><em>Dotarea material-didactic\u0103<\/em> a \u015fcolilor basarabene s-a realizat paralel cu extinderea re\u0163elei institu\u0163iilor de \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2nt. \u00cen anii 1918 \u2013 1940 au fost construite 1760 localuri noi pentru \u015fcoli. \u015ecolile au fost asigurate cu cadre bine preg\u0103tite, cu programe \u015fcolare, h\u0103r\u0163i, manuale \u015fi literatura necesar\u0103, etc. De asemenea, este important s\u0103 men\u0163ion\u0103m c\u0103 sistemul de \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2nt a fost adecvat specificului na\u0163ional rom\u00e2nesc, \u00een general, \u015fi condi\u0163iilor specifice ale Basarabiei, \u00een particular, \u015fi a valorificat at\u00e2t tradi\u0163ia pedagogiei na\u0163ionale, c\u00e2t \u015fi tradi\u0163ia \u015fi ideile moderne din spa\u0163iul cultural european.<\/p>\n<p>Biserica a avut \u015fi ea un rol important \u00een cultivarea valorilor morale \u015fi spirituale. Dup\u0103 unire, Biserica ortodox\u0103 din Basarabia a \u00eentrerupt leg\u0103turile cu Patriarhia Rus\u0103 \u015fi \u00een 1927 s-a \u00eenfiin\u0163at Mitropolia Basarabiei. \u00cen perioada interbelic\u0103 \u00een Basarabia au fost construite peste 100 de noi biserici, cu deosebire \u00een satele basarabene, dar \u015fi \u00een unele ora\u015fe, cele mai impun\u0103toare, prin dimensiuni \u015fi stil arhitectonic, fiind catedralele din B\u0103l\u0163i \u015fi din Tighina..<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen acest context s-a remarcat Mitropolitul Gurie (Gheorghe Grosu) un om extrem de evlavios \u015fi unul din promotorii valorilor na\u0163ionale \u00een Basarabia, militant al rom\u00e2nismului, \u00een calitatea sa de ministru adjunct al Justitiei \u00een Guvernul provizoriu de la Chi\u015fin\u0103u, din 1920 \u2013 arhiepiscop al Chi\u015fin\u0103ului \u015fi Hotinului, iar din 1928 \u2013 mitropolit al Basarabiei (p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een 1936). Opera scris\u0103 a Mitropolitului Gurie Grosu (1877-1943) include nemijlocit lucr\u0103ri care poart\u0103 semn\u0103tura c\u0103rturarului ierarh, pentru care istoricul Nicolae Iorga aprecia <em>\u201ePe umerii popii Gurie a stat \u00eentreaga lupt\u0103 pentru limba rom\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een Basarabia\u201d<\/em>. Ostenelile c\u0103rtur\u0103re\u015fti au avut impact colosal \u00een formarea \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103torilor, teologilor, dar, \u00een deosebi, \u00een zidirea spiritualit\u0103\u0163ii rom\u00e2ne\u015fti \u00een acest col\u0163 de \u0162ar\u0103. Pe bune pedagogul Onisifor Ghibu i-a dat o mare apreciere, spun\u00e2nd: <em>\u201eMitropolitul Gurie a dovedit dragoste \u015fi r\u00e2vn\u0103 pentru cultur\u0103, \u00een general, \u015fi pentru cultura bisericeasc\u0103, \u00een special, \u015fi \u00een calitatea sa de propov\u0103duitor \u015fi r\u0103sp\u00e2nditor de carte \u015fi de suflet rom\u00e2nesc.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00cen Basarabia au existat mai multe institu\u0163ii de cultur\u0103, care se bucurau de o larg\u0103 influen\u0163\u0103 \u00een r\u00e2ndul cet\u0103\u0163enilor. \u00centre acestea se num\u0103r\u0103 Societatea de Belle Arte, \u00eenfiin\u0163at\u0103 \u00een 1921 la Chi\u015fin\u0103u, care avea trei sec\u0163ii: teatru, muzic\u0103 \u015fi arte plastice. Societatea a constituit \u00een Chi\u015fin\u0103u Muzeul de Arte Plastice. Din ini\u0163iativa sculptorului Alexandru Pl\u0103m\u0103deal\u0103 a fost \u00eenfiin\u0163at\u0103 la Chi\u015fin\u0103u o Pinacoteca municipal\u0103, inaugurat\u0103 la 26 noiembrie 1939, av\u00e2nd un fond ini\u0163ial de 161 de lucr\u0103ri. A\u015fadar, \u00een baza celor men\u0163ionate mai sus, avem dreptul s\u0103 consider\u0103m colec\u0163iile Pinacotecii Municipale drept punct de pornire sau nucleul fond\u0103rii actualului Muzeu Na\u0163ional de Arte Plastice al Republicii Moldova. \u00cen 1919 a fost inaugurat primul Conservator din Basarabia, av\u00e2nd numele semnificativ \u201eUnirea\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>De un mare succes se bucurau arti\u015ftii Alexandru Cristea, autorul melodiei \u201eLimba noastr\u0103\u201d, pe versurile lui Alexei Mateevici \u015fi Maria Cebotari c\u00e2nt\u0103rea\u0163\u0103 de oper\u0103 rom\u00e2n\u0103, una dintre cele mai mari soprane din lume \u00een anii &#8217;30 \u2013 &#8217;40 ai secolului trecut. Marea c\u00e2nt\u0103rea\u0163\u0103 a evoluat nu numai pe scenele rom\u00e2ne\u015fti, dar \u015fi la Berlin, Roma, Londra, ulterior a fost angajat\u0103 ca solist\u0103 permanent\u0103 a operei de stat din Viena, unde a r\u0103mas p\u00e2n\u0103 la moarte (1949), a c\u00e2ntat sub bagheta unor mari dirijori ca Fritz Bush, Arturo Toscanini, Clemens Krauss, Karl B\u00f6hm, Wilhelm Furtw\u00e4ngler. Adev\u0103rate evenimente culturale au fost turneele \u00een ora\u015fele basarabene ale marelui compozitor, interpret \u015fi dirijor rom\u00e2n George Enescu.<\/p>\n<p>La Chi\u015fin\u0103u s-a \u00eenfiin\u0163at, \u00een 1920, Teatrul Popular \u015fi Teatrului Na\u0163ional, unde se prezentau spectacole \u00een limba rom\u00e2n\u0103. Tot la Chi\u015fin\u0103u func\u0163iona, din 1928, Conservatorul Na\u0163ional, precum \u015fi Conservatorul Municipal. S-au ridicat monumente, care au \u00eempodobit ora\u015fele basarabene: la Chi\u015fin\u0103u monumentele lui \u015etefan cel Mare, sculptor de Al. Pl\u0103m\u0103deal\u0103, a Regelui Ferdinand I, la Orhei monumentul lui Vasile Lupu, sculptor Oscar Han.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cenc\u0103 din 1889, s-au pus bazele unui Muzeu de Istorie Natural\u0103, care dup\u0103 1918 \u015fi-a extins activitatea, at\u00e2t \u00een privin\u0163a expozi\u0163iilor de popularizare a lumii vegetale \u015fi animale, c\u00e2t \u015fi \u00een domeniul cercet\u0103rii \u015ftiin\u0163ifice. Este cel mai vechi Muzeu din R. Moldova, fondat ca Muzeu Agricol, pe parcursul existen\u0163ei sale \u015fi-a l\u0103rgit treptat domeniul de activitate, cre\u00e2nd colec\u0163ii ce reflect\u0103 istoria natural\u0103, natura contemporan\u0103, flora, fauna, evolu\u0163ia social\u0103 \u015fi cultura tradi\u0163ional\u0103 de pe teritoriul Basarabiei .<\/p>\n<p>Unirea Basarabiei cu Rom\u00e2nia a fost consolidat\u0103 \u015fi prin activitatea cluburilor, caselor de cultur\u0103, c\u0103minelor culturale, teatrelor care au devenit adev\u0103rate focare de cultur\u0103 \u015fi spiritualitate rom\u00e2neasc\u0103. Toate acestea au contribuit la reconsolidarea treptat\u0103 a rom\u00e2nismului \u00een Basarabia, la rena\u015fterea demnit\u0103\u0163ii na\u0163ionale, care au fost supuse anihil\u0103rii \u00een timpul regimului \u0163arist.<\/p>\n<p>Bibliotecile au cunoscut o cre\u015ftere numeric\u0103, dar \u015fi \u00een privin\u0163a fondului de carte. \u00cen 1920 s-a \u00eenfiin\u0163at, la Chi\u015fin\u0103u, Biblioteca Central\u0103 a Basarabiei, care beneficia de dreptul de depozit legal \u015fi gratuit, a c\u00e2te dou\u0103 exemplare din toate publica\u0163iile din Rom\u00e2nia. \u00cen perioada interbelic\u0103 presa a fost extrem de numeroas\u0103 \u015fi variat\u0103. Cele mai citite ziare rom\u00e2ne\u015fti erau \u201eVia\u0163a Basarabiei\u201d, \u201eCuv\u00e2ntul Basarabiei\u201d, \u201eCuv\u00e2nt Moldovenesc\u201d \u015fi \u201eBasarabia noastr\u0103\u201d. De\u015fi presa \u00een limba rom\u00e2n\u0103 a cunoscut o important\u0103 cre\u015ftere (ca num\u0103r de titluri \u015fi tiraj), totu\u015fi ea nu a putut ajunge din urm\u0103 presa tip\u0103rit\u0103 \u00een limbile minorit\u0103\u0163ilor na\u0163ionale, mai ales \u00een limba rus\u0103, la care erau abona\u0163i nu numai ru\u015fi, ci \u015fi rom\u00e2ni, evrei, germani, ucraineni etc.<\/p>\n<p>De remarcat, c\u0103 \u015fi literatura rom\u00e2n\u0103 a cunoscut o adev\u0103rat\u0103 \u00eenflorire \u00een perioada interbelic\u0103. Basarabenii \u015fi-au adus propria contribu\u0163ie la dezvoltarea prozei, poeziei, dramaturgiei, criticii literare din Rom\u00e2nia. Printre membrii Asocia\u0163iei Literare \u015fi \u015etiin\u0163ifice \u201eVia\u0163a Rom\u00e2neasc\u0103\u201d s-au aflat Constantin Stere, \u015etefan Ciobanu, Pan Halippa, Paul Gore, Ion Buzdugan, Olga Vrabie. De un real succes se bucurau c\u0103r\u0163ile publicate de Nicolai Costenco, Magda Isanos, Sergiu Cujb\u0103, Dumitru Iov, George Meniuc \u015fi al\u0163i basarabeni. Un rol deosebit l-a avut \u00een perioada interbelic\u0103 Pantelimon Halippa, fondatorul Universit\u0103\u0163ii Populare din Chi\u015fin\u0103u (1917), a Conservatorului Moldovenesc \u015fi a Societat\u0103\u0163ii Scriitorilor \u015fi Publici\u015ftilor Basarabeni.<\/p>\n<p>Perioada interbelic\u0103 s-a caracterizat prin formarea \u015fi dezvoltarea unor importante \u015fcoli \u015ftiin\u0163ifice, prin afirmarea unor adev\u0103ra\u0163i savan\u0163i, nu numai la scar\u0103 na\u0163ional\u0103, dar \u015fi interna\u0163ional\u0103. Remarcabile sunt \u015fi contribu\u0163iile basarabenilor Eugen B\u0103d\u0103r\u0103u (chimie), Anatolie Co\u0163ovschi (medicin\u0103), Nicolae Donici (astronomie), Nicolae Moro\u015fan (arheologie), Teodor V\u0103sc\u0103u\u0163eanu (geologie), Gheorghe I. N\u0103stase (geografie), Nicolae Dimo (agronomie), Petre \u015etef\u0103nuc\u0103 (etnografie), Ion Savin (filozofie) etc. Unele personalit\u0103\u0163i basarabene au fost alese \u00een cele mai \u00eenalte foruri \u015ftiin\u0163ifice \u015fi culturale, au devenit membri ai Academiei Rom\u00e2ne. Amintim, \u00een acest context, c\u0103 printre cei 21 de membri fondatori ai Academiei Rom\u00e2ne, trei au fost originari din Basarabia: scriitorul Alexandru H\u00e2jd\u0103u, agronomul \u015fi omul politic \u015etefan Gonata, scriitorul \u015fi traduc\u0103torul Constantin Stamati. Din r\u00e2ndul membrilor Academiei Rom\u00e2ne a ajuns s\u0103 fac\u0103 parte, dar post-mortem, din 2010, \u015fi cea mai important\u0103 personalitate basarabean\u0103, Constantin Stere, care a fost profesor \u015fi rector al Universit\u0103\u0163ii din Ia\u015fi, reputat jurist, av\u00e2nd contribu\u0163ii recunoscute \u00een domeniul dreptului constitu\u0163ional. Cuv\u00e2ntarea sa, bine chibzuit\u0103 \u015fi rostit\u0103 cu haru-i oratoric caracteristic, autoritatea de lupt\u0103tor convins \u00eempotriva \u0163arismului, au jucat un rol hot\u0103r\u00e2tor \u00een momentul vot\u0103rii. Constantin Stere a \u0163inut un discurs care a produs o vie emo\u0163ie, ar\u0103t\u00e2nd c\u0103 \u201e\u2026<em>ast\u0103zi trebuie s\u0103 hot\u0103r\u00e2m ceea ce va avea o importan\u0163\u0103 extraordinar\u0103 asupra soartei viitoare a poporului nostru. Mersul de fier al istoriei pune asupra umerilor no\u015ftri o r\u0103spundere pe care noi n-o putem ignora cu nici un fel de sofisme\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Privit\u0103 \u00een ansamblu Basarabiei \u00een perioada interbelic\u0103 constat\u0103m c\u0103 a f\u0103cut un pas important \u00een dezvoltarea \u00eenv\u0103\u0163\u0103m\u00e2ntului, literaturii, artelor, presei, \u015ftiin\u0163ei. De\u015fi a avut de \u00eenfruntat mai multe greut\u0103\u0163i ea a p\u0103strat \u015fi multiplicat continuitatea spiritului rom\u00e2nesc, unitatea, entitatea \u015fi sublimul valorilor autentice n\u0103scute de poporul acestui mult p\u0103timit p\u0103m\u00e2nt.<\/p>\n<p>Toate aceste date concrete indic\u0103 faptul c\u0103 Basarabia \u015fi-a g\u0103sit locul firesc \u00een cadrul statului na\u0163ional unitar rom\u00e2n, a participat activ la via\u0163a cultural\u0103, \u015ftiin\u0163ific\u0103 \u015fi spiritual\u0103 a Rom\u00e2niei din perioada interbelic\u0103, reu\u015find s\u0103 parcurg\u0103 multe trepte pe drumul civiliza\u0163iei moderne \u015fi s\u0103 se apropie de nivelul de dezvoltare al celorlalte provincii istorice.
